CM Punjab Agricultural Transformation Program: Boost Your Yield with Modern Machinery
The Government of Punjab has launched the CM Punjab Agricultural Transformation Program with the goal of increasing crop production through modern farming methods. This initiative offers farmers a valuable opportunity to enhance their farming efficiency by adopting advanced agricultural machinery at a subsidized cost. The deadline for submitting applications is 31st October 2024.
Subsidy Details
Under this program, farmers can receive a subsidy of 60%, with a maximum limit of PKR 5 lakhs to purchase agricultural machinery. This subsidy aims to alleviate the financial burden on farmers while promoting the use of advanced tools to improve productivity.

Terms and Conditions CM Punjab Agricultural Transformation Program
To be eligible for the subsidy, farmers must meet the following criteria:
Tractor Ownership:
The applicant must own a 50-horsepower tractor.
Land Ownership:
In canal-irrigated areas, the farmer must own at least 25 acres of land.
In rain-fed areas, the farmer must own at least 50 acres of land.
Service to Other Farmers:
During the program’s duration, the farmer is required to offer services to other farmers in their community.
Application Limit:
only one application is allowed per person
Machinery Purchase Requirement:
Once the allotment letter is issued, the farmer must purchase the machinery within 10 days. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the subsidy, which cannot be challenged in any court. The subsidy will then be provided to the next applicant on the waiting list.
Sale Restriction:
The machinery cannot be sold within the first four years of receiving it.
Training Requirement:
The applicant must undergo one day of training, which will cover the basics of machinery repair and maintenance.

Alternatively, the application form can also be obtained from the District Agriculture Engineer’s Office by submitting a PKR 300 e-stamp.
